Love the style
Will keep even though the dress has its disadvantages. The smocked back is uncomfortable (a bit scratchy). Maybe try with a cami?But what about the cami straps showing? Looks better with the (elastic) top part of the sleeves slightly moved away from my neck. But then they don't stay in place. Will try with fashion tape. Don't know why the designer didn't use a regular back. Seems to tighten across the bust, so my B-cup looks smaller:) The print and fabric are lovely, nice movement and flow when wearing. I go down a size in Nic & Zoe. Ordered x-small and small. Will keep the x-small...I have narrow shoulders.

Strange Fit
Loved the style, color, pattern and material of this dress. My size is somewhere between a 14 and 16. I tried 3 sizes (XL, L and M). Strangely on me none of the sleeves would stay up on my shoulders even though there is elastic that should hold the sleeves securely on your shoulders. Maybe it’s just my shoulders. The skirt has a tie waist that is adjustable so all the dresses looked fine on the bottom. For me L fit the best but for the sleeves falling down. The M skirt fit but the top was too tight and yet the sleeves kept falling down on it too. Just need nice wide shoulders to hold the sleeves up. I really wanted this dress to work.

Not Nic + Zoe's Best Effort
When I saw this dress on the website, I fell in love with it. When it arrived at my home and I opened the box, I could not have been more disappointed. The fabric has an unpleasant texture, which makes the smocking on the back feel scratchy. There is too much going on with this dress: the fluttery sleeves, the smocking and the faux wrap skirt with the wide self-tie. When I tried on the dress, the sleeves kept falling down onto my shoulders! I did like the square neck and back and midi length, and the print is really interesting. I am returning this dress. I recommend instead purchasing the Shadow Blocks Tank. I did, because it has a lovely drape, a nicer fabric and greater wardrobe versatility. It is difficult to see from the photo, but there is black in the print. The tank would coordinate very nicely with a pair of black pants or a black midi skirt.
