very wide, extreme A-line
Not happy with this item: the photo is not accurate, suspect excess fabric is pinned in the back to create illusion of a slimmer cut. Very billowy. I am 5'8" and lean, the size small fits great in the waist but the A-line is overwhelming. This probably looks better and more flattering on a pear-shaped or rounder figure. Print is beautiful and fabric is nice. I may try to get it altered if affordable.

Great skirt!
I am getting compliments on this skirt, which I wear with a blue t-shirt. It is comfortable and a lovely, light weight cotton. Great for North Carolina summers. I like the big stretchy waist band. I ordered the XL & I measure 35 inches at the waist and 41 at the high hip. It is a-line but hangs fairly straight, and it is not see through, so I do not need a slip underneath. A definite keeper & glad I found it on sale.
