Tektrel Sneaker (Women)

I prefer trail shoes without the carbon plate because I feel less connected to the trail with the carbon plate. But I bought these shoes because my feet have been suffering and getting injured from overuse on mountain trails. Carbon plated shoes were recommended to me to prevent injury from running steep trails and overextending my toes. I like them besides the fact that I can’t feel the trail under my feet as well, but I think that is part of the purpose of protecting my feet so it’s probably a good thing. I wish NB made these in wide because I had to order a size up since they do not make a wide version and even the size up is not quite right. The size up is a little too long and still not quite wide enough for me. But I make it work for the most part. Traction is good, cushion is good. Quality seems solid.
