Very Uncomfortable Shoes
When is New Balance going to make shoes like they used to? This was the most uncomfortable New Balance shoe I have ever put on my foot. The quality keeps going downhill. I returned the shoes. The return process was simple and the refund was prompt.

Disappointed in styling
Have worn the New Balance 860, for more than 10 years. Because of my flat feet I purchase and use a new pair every 6 months. The cushioning and stability have improved over the years. The 860 is my go to shoe for athletic and casual wear. I am unable to wear sandles. The styling of the upper shoe is disappointing. It is boxy looking, not sleek like the previous versions. The bold white lettering detracts from the look of the shoe. Does the word stability need to be broadcast on the side of the shoe? I wear a women’s size 12 medium. My foot runs narrow so I am hoping not to have problems with fit.

Bad changes
I've been wearing the 860 for over a decade and I'm devastated with the changes. It feels like a completely different shoe. The huge sole makes it feel less stable and it's lost it's arch support. The rest of the fit is also off with a more narrow toe box. I'll be skipping the 15, but please return to a closer version of the 860 for the 16.

Don’t feel good
I bought these shoes for my wife after her last pair wore out and she tried to like them but they kill her feet. Now we are stuck with brand new shoes that are worthless.

DONT LIKE THE ROLL FORWARD SHOES
I wish New Balance would bring back the 840!! I have used it for many years because of the wide toe box & back issues. I tried the 860 V15, did not work ! The shoes was too high in the heel & rolled forward. Very uncomfortable! I don’t know why you are making all the shoes with the roll forward in them. Isn’t safe for some people. PLEASE BRING BACK THE 840!! I had to buy a Brooks for now!

New Balance US response
Thank you for sharing your feedback and for being a long-time 840 wearer. We're sorry to hear the 860v15 did not provide the fit and comfort you relied on, particularly with the higher heel and forward-rolling feel. We understand how frustrating it is when a trusted favorite is no longer available, and if you'd like assistance exploring alternative styles that may better suit your needs, our Customer Care team would be happy to help.
