We Didn't Ask for Hokas

Like other reviewers, I'm very disappointed in this version of the 880s. Way too cushioned, too high of a sole, and the rocker is insane. I live in a hilly area and running up and down hills in these felt extremely unstable. I tried two different sizes and even a different New Balance model and returned all 3. Back to rocking my tried and true 880v10s LOL. Hoping New Balance comes out with a more traditional 880 model soon, because I love the FreshFoam and am in desperate need of a replacement.

Don’t like the rocker sole

This shoe lifts your toes from the ball of your foot so your foot doesn’t sit flat. Maybe it’s good for runners but not good if you have feet problems. The narrow is a little too narrow if you have orthotics. It was a nice shoe but not comfortable for me.

New Running Shoes

I just love this shoe. I have worn NB since I started running over 25 years ago, I'm a late starter, and they have never let me down. From running my first 5k to finishing the Honolulu Marathon, and now starting again after "life happened" I will continue to trust this brand until I can't run any longer.
