Joy Ankle Strap Sandal (Women)

I really love these shoes — I’ve been searching for the perfect open-toe pair that’s truly wide-width. They do feel wide-width, and the comfort is amazing. They’re also clearly well-made and durable. The only thing I wish more shoe companies would consider is this: a lot of people who shop wide-width (especially plus-size shoppers) also need ankle straps that are big-ankle friendly. Many times, wide-width applies to the footbed, but the straps still run tight. Because I love these shoes so much, I didn’t want to return them. Instead, I brought them to a shoe repair company to either add an extension to the straps or replace the straps entirely so they fit more comfortably around the ankle. I hope you’ll take this into consideration for future designs — I’m confident I’m not the only one who experiences this. I’m also a content creator/influencer, and this is something plus-size shoppers talk about all the time: we want wide-calf boots, wide-width shoes, and ankle-friendly straps so we can feel confident, comfortable, and sexy too.
