Berlin Block Heel Platform Pump - Wide Width Available (Women)

My review strongly focuses on a comparison between these shoes and Clark's Kendra Sienna pumps. Clark's no longer sells the Kendra Sienna but they look nearly identical to Naturalizer's Berlin pumps, so I bought the Berlins as a replacement. Unfortunately, the Berlins do not wear the same. They are tight across the toebox, yet paradoxically too large all over so that my feet tend to slide every which way. The inside of the shoe is not padded at all, so it feels like I'm wearing concrete golashes. The heel part of the shoe is too loose so the shoes flop off my feet when I walk, which is exacerbated by wearing stockings. (I bought some heel grips off Amazon, and they are the only reason I am able to walk in these shoes.) The only saving grace for these shoes is the way they look: for some reason this classic block heel, platformed black pump is impossible to find nowadays. Will keep only for that reason.

When I first purchased these I was not hopeful. I have large feet that are extra wide. Sadly the wide width was sold out when I went to purchase so I had to try the regular width. When these arrived and I tried them on I wasn’t pleased. They felt very tight in the toe box and being they are synthetic I wasn’t hopeful that I could break them in. I did my usual break in techniques wearing them around the house with socks for a few hours and placing them in the freezer with a bag of water over night. Today is day day three and they’ve already stretched further than I dreamed. I can walk around wearing them with socks and they no longer hurt, but they still feel a touch tight. A few more days of breaking them in and I feel they will be perfect.

Found the fit to be a challenge so i ended up returning and reordering 3X. im usually an 8 and I'm on the wide side but it was huge. hopefully the 7W fits. still waiting for the package to arrive. Other than that the shoes are adorable.Check your receipts, The website said "returnable" but the invoice said " NOT RETURNABLE" I was able to return without a problem.

These heels are super comfortable but they were a bit snug. I am 8 1/2 in almost every shoe I have but this one I will return for a size 9. I do have wide feet and ordered the wide width, it wasn't as wide as I thought it would be, it might just be because I should've ordered up. It is super cute in person and I thought it was comfortable to walk in even though my toes were squished. I recommend this shoe for sure.
