'Ideal' T-Strap Sandal (Women)

Straight out of the shoebox, these gorgeous sandals fit like a glove and are incredibly comfortable. I decided to buy something special for myself, and purchasing these shoes was worth every dollar! The elastic straps allow me to just slip them on easily. They are the perfect combination of comfort and elegance.

Tried on this sandal at my local Nordstrom. The 8 1/2 fit, but the bottom back strap kept slipping off and going under my heel when I would walk. So I went down to a size 8, and the bottom strap still slipped off. The top back strap stays on, so the problem seems to be with the bottom back strap -- a design flaw. Too bad, it's a cute sandal. But impossible to actually wear.

Really liked these shoes & would be comfortable if they were not so wide. I wear a ten narrow & these were not narrow. I will be returning them. I've been buying Munroe shoes for years as they have narrow shoe sizes. However, I've noticed Munroes don't seem to be made as well as they were before. I have a couple more pair that seemed to be comfortable when I bought them but after wearng, they did hurt my feet. I didn't return them but I should have. Would probably recommend if you have wide feet.

Ordinarily I have good luck with Munro shoes. Not with these. OK, one foot is slightly wider than the other for me, but the difference never mattered before. With these, however, the right pinched across the front while my forefoot slipped like mad in the left shoe--it was almost as though they were several widths apart. The elastic straps did not hold my foot particularly well, and the metallic-leather forestrap felt almost as stiff as actual metal--it's a blister waiting to happen. (No wonder the finish seemed so mirrorlike: the leather is very rigid.) I give this pair two stars because it is pretty, and it might work for someone whose feet don't tend to torque with every step as mine do. But mostly I'd say stay away. This is one design Munro needs to rethink.
