runs super small and hem is not as pictured

These jeans run small. I'm usually a 26, ordered a 27, which I could not even pull up over my hips, as there is essentially no give and they run small. Quality is good. Denim is thick with structure. The hem was not distressed like depicted in the photo and was more of a flare, then straight or skinny.

Jeans

I also read reviews and sized up from my typical 25 to a size 26, and they were too big. I did find them fairly stretchy as well, and they're very soft denim. I reordered in a 25, but I'm afraid I might have to return them as well due to the length. Being 5'3" the ankle length is almost full length on me, and a crop typically fits better as ankle length. For reference, I'm 5'3", 113lbs.

I’m a 26 in all of my Mother jeans but the denim on these is not forgiving and I could barely get them up. I’d say order at least one size bigger. Still love them. Going to try a bigger size.

Perfect Wash!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These jeans are just about perfect. The wash and distressing are beautiful! They hit right above the ankles for me at 6'5. I do find they run slightly small (I think most Mother jeans do) and so I went up a size. The color is exactly as the picture.
