Kalahari Melon & Aloe Vera Deep Hydration Shampoo

It is deeply moisturizing and works beautifully on my color treated hair as well as my daughters tightly, coiled thick hair. I use protective styles on my daughter, and I’ve noticed that her scalp itches less due to dryness and her hair stay soft and moisturized for a longer period of time. I’ve also noticed for myself that I have minimal tingling throughout the week and that my washing goes stay more defined for a longer period of time. So this shampoo to me is a miracle worker.

It cleansed my hair well without leaving it feeling dry or stripped. My hair felt soft, refreshed, and hydrated after just one wash. It also lathers nicely for a sulfate-free shampoo and has a light, pleasant scent. Great choice if you want clean hair that still feels moisturized.

My hair felt soft immediately and detangling was so easy. My curls looked juicy, defined, and healthy after washing. It cleansed my hair without stripping it, and my curls still felt hydrated. It smells so good that I caught myself shampooing my hair more times than I probably needed to on wash day lol. For reference, I have 4C hair and loc’d, so I’m always careful about using shampoos that actually cleanse without stripping my hair. This shampoo did exactly that. It cleaned my hair from root to ends and left my scalp feeling fresh, but my hair still felt soft and moisturized afterward. The “hydration” in the name definitely lives up to it. My hair felt moisturized, smelled amazing, and there was no greasy or heavy residue left behind. I'm definitely adding this to my staples!

I have used other products of Mielle before and they never disappoint. The scent is really good, very fresh, and it doesn't irritate my scalp.
