Wrapt Hiking Sneaker (Men)

The Wrapt is a nice looking shoe but just didn't fit me right. I've owned over two dozen different Merrell hiking shoes and this is the 1st pair that I have returned. I wear a size 10.5 and the arch support placement was too far forward. I had to cram my toes and nearly leave a gap at the heal for it to feel right.

I’ve had these for just under 6 months; wearing about 2-3 days per week. Terrific fit and feel. The upper is very durable, however, the outsole tread is very soft and has nearly worn through at the heel. The sole traction and grip is very good in dry conditions, but very slippery in wet conditions on hard surfaces (i.e. concrete and macadam). The fabric on the inside of the heel counter has also worn through. I don’t wear them barefoot, but with merino wool ankle socks.
