Great all round hiker. Looks good dirty, too
Bought these for autumn midwest forest hikes. Ordered half size smaller based on previous reviews. Perfect on trails, improved paths, even on top of wet, fallen leaves. In winter i migrated to the desert southwest where these exceled over rock & root strewn dry trails, and traversing red rock sandstone cliffs and faces. Also used them on big tire mountain bike with zero problems. Comfortable, supportive. Love 'em.

Roomy toe box; very comfortable
finally, a shoe with a large toe box for me (reminds me of the first Altra shoes I wore with the wide toe box). very comfortable, and assuming the pair wears well, will be my "go to" shoes. plan to buy another pair.
