These are the low top shoe versions and not boots
I received the low top shoe version and not the boots as pictured. The pictures and descriptions of the sale page are off. I've attached a photo of what I received.
I would say for the show version they are comfortable with a wider toe box than I would like. The tongue is padded and the laces are really great. The foot bed is firm and more like mountaineering boots whereas most Merrell hikers have soft foot bed and prioritize sneaker-like comfort over durability. This particular model is unique because it does not have that sneaker-like feel that most other Merrell hikers have. It feels like you are wearing boots.
Not the lightest as well but they don't wear heavy also. If you have wide fat feet and hike hard then these would work best but if you are in the narrow soft feet group then look elsewhere for a better fit and all day comfort.
