Great hiking boots!
I broke these shoes out in Maui, Hawaii. The shoes were great on super rocky terrain. It was raining and the rocks were wet and these shoes were great at helping me not slip. They're also comfortable enough to be worn as casual shoes and look great! I will absolutely be purchasing another pair of Merrells!

Not comfortable.
These boots were nothing like my first boots (last year) that were more rugged and 3 times more comfortable. I do not recommend this particular shoe.

Not waterproof
Great shoe that feels comfortable and has good ankle support for me. I am usually a size 8, but got a 8.5 to so that I could wear thick socks. However, these are not completely waterproof, got caught in a downpour and water seeped in through the sides of the tongue (I had these laced very tight). Disappointing as they are comfortable but not completely waterproof.
