Lightweight supportive and comfortable!
I have had these hikers for a year and love them. The only thing I would change is the ability to tighten. The laces is a little bit tough, but they are lightweight and extremely comfortable, providing support to my ankles, which I have rolled several times and make a full hiker necessary.

Recommend!
I wore these yesterday for the first time and hiked 6 miles in the Colorado mtns! No break in time and very comfortable! Soles have great treads and handle rocks and some slick spots well. Appreciate the higher boot for ankle support. These are my third pair of Merrell hikers and never disappointed. Ordered a 9.5 which is consistent for all Merrell styles.

Best boots for me, sad about misinformation
I bought SIX pairs of these because they are the ONLY boot/shoe that works for my feet. I have had one pair for a year and ahalf. I can walk off the trails, which I never could before. I can walk in water. I just did it with one of the pairs that I have had over a year. TWO different people on the chat assured me that Rogues were being discontinued, and they have changed my life, so I needed quite a few pairs in that case. Now I see that they are not discontinued. Too bad I don't get the cool new color, unless I can sell off one of my barely-used pairs (in each of last year's colors) to someone. Women's size 10, anyone? Sigh. I would post a photo of my shoes in the creek, above the laces, but the site won't let me for some reason.
