Sturdy+ comfortable walking shoes 👟👟‼️
The leather has an unusual finish that emphasizes 💦 water proof over 🫁 breathability. The Nova 4 shoes take the opposite strategy. The sole is bouncy, almost like a Hoka. Until the snow ❄️ melts, my favorite is the Merrell Moab speed 2 Goretex 6 inch boot 🥾🥾.🤞🤠

Incredibly Painful
Happy with another pair of Merrell's I have, but these are unwearable. Used them on a brief 5 mile hike and experienced incredible sharp pains in my heel and toes afterwards.

Good, rugged shoe.
Purchased for my son who logs many miles in all kinds of weather. He has lived in Coastal Alaska, so needs rugged, waterproof hiking shoes.
