So disappointed
These boots are much better looking in person until you put them on. They do look great, but the one huge problem is they squeak when you walk. A very annoying and loud squeak. I couldn’t believe it! I immediately returned them.

Great boots
They look great with jeans. I look for opportunities to wear them. Was concerned about the squeaking mentioned in the other review. The new rubber bottoms did squeak. Went away almost immediately. Excellent boots, great workmanship, great leather. Can't believe I got these for under $200!

Comfortable Boot w/Doc Marten-esque Sole
I ordered the black in size 13. I’m a 12.5 so the boot sizing was spot-on since it was a little large, exactly how I was hoping. The leather is soft almost like calfskin. Non-reinforced eyelets which makes it a bit dressier. I read several complaints about squeaking. I had none. The soles are not typical hard rubber boot soles, they’re softer and kinda gummy, reminds me of a Doc Marten feel which I like because I’m not using them as a work boot. Good value for just north of $200.
