These are so cute on and super comfortable! I am usually a 28, so I bout a 27 and 28 since the reviews said to size down. I had to return both and order a 26. I’m 5’9 and 145 lbs.

I love these jeans but size down!
This is my second pair of Madewell Darted Barrel Jeans and I love them. They are thicker denim and have a worn in look. However, I sized down by 2 sizes to get the right fit.

Definitely big!
I already sized down to a 25 and it was still very big for me. Length went down to regular pant length so it wasn’t cropped the way the model had it. Waist and thigh areas were big too. Unfortunately had to return.

perfect weekend jeans
After reading the other reviews saying to size down, I took a gamble and ordered my usual size. They are oversized by design, comfortable and roomy. Since the are loose and cropped, they pair well with a fitted shirt and cute shoes.
