Superwide Leg Trousers in Stretch Satin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I almost passed on these based on the one negative review but so happy I tried them on in store! I'm typically a 4-6/27-28 in Madewell pants but the store only had a 6. I prefer a mid-rise, and the 6 is just oversized enough to sit on my high hip and have the perfect amount of slouch in a trouser. I'm 5'8" and they're a great length to wear with a kitten heel or low-mid heel boot. They even look great with my Stan Smiths and Sambas. Super comfortable - lightweight with a bit of stretch. Look equally amazing paired with a velvet blazer or dressed down with a graphic tee. And can't beat the sale price!

I bought a size 0 online and exchanged for a 00 because they were so big. Unfortunately it was marked final sale and I thought the 00 would fit. I received them and they are the same as a size 0. They run HUGE! Im so bothered, Im noticing Madewell has been very hit or miss lately. Some items are great and other are terrible, beware of "final sale," there's a reason. These pants look like clown pants, too bad because the texture is nice.
