Great dress!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great and super comfortable dress! The top is super stretchy and also flattering (feels like it cinches in on the upper half) and the bottom is flowy. I know this will get a ton of wear in the spring and summer.

fell apart after three months
I never leave reviews but had to warn people against buying this dress. I bought it in late May, got it in early June, wore it maybe ~4/5 times. Fast forward to this morning when I got it out of my closet and discovered the elastic in the neckline had randomly broken. Unfortunately that completely ruins the dress because the neckline loses its shape and won't stay on my shoulders. This dress was great while it lasted but when I buy something from Madewell I expect it to last more than three months.

Cute dress!

Sweet gingham dress
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fit of the dress is flattering and comfortable with the gathering not too tight but form fitting and the cut of the neck and shoulders just as pictured. It stays on the shoulders and covers my bra strap comfortably. The black and white gingham fabric is a medium weight and feels great. Love the gingham. Hits my frame just above the knee.
