Gingham Smocked Waist Maxi Dress

I received this item and immediately noticed something was off. The entire neckline was damaged and unable to be synched. I contacted customer care and instead of replacing the item they told me there was nothing they could do because they were the “rack” and nothing they sell is in perfect condition which was a surprise to me after being a customer nearly my entire life. They made me order and pay for my replacement and told me to return the damaged item immediately so they could put it back on the floor. I am going to shop with caution moving forward I have never received such bad customer service from Nordstrom.

This is a cute dress, but definitely runs large. The fabric is nice for the flowy part of the dress, but there is part of the sleeves with elastic cinching the fabric in, and that is quite itchy. I’m not sure I like this one enough to exchange for the next smaller size. But cute style and print, maybe it will work better for someone else!
