Runs small with weird proportions
As we all know, Madewell is not always consistent with its sizing across the board. This dress was too tight in the bust, for a 36 B/C wearing a size 10. I wear a small/medium in princess seamed button down shirts and a size 10 in pants from Madewell overall. So, this dress was ill-fitting / too small in the shoulder and bust, which made the whole thing look weird and made the waist sit in the wrong place. Fabric and actual sewing was fine—but who did a bad job on the patterning for this dress? YMMV of course.
