MACStack Waterproof Mascara

MAC has proved it again, their products have cheapened. This is one of the worst mascaras I’ve used. Did not lengthen. Was not thick enough. Was not waterproof

Best mascara ever

Loving this mascara. It builds and lifts nicely and it last. Also while waterproof is easy to remove.

I have oily skin, and this mascara is the only one that stays on all day with no smudging. Even for my wedding, I asked my makeup artist to use my personal mascara, and it didn’t fail me. The best waterproof mascara on the market.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been trying out the MAC Stack Elevated Mascara, and it really lives up to its reputation. The formula is super lightweight, which makes it perfect for layering without that heavy, clumpy feeling some mascaras give. I love that I can build it up depending on the look I’m going for. One coat for a soft, everyday lift, or multiple coats for bold, dramatic volume. The wand design is a game changer. It separates and lengthens my lashes so well, and I notice that it actually lifts them without needing to curl as much. It holds throughout the day without smudging or flaking, which is a huge win for me. If you’re looking for a mascara that gives you that “wide-eyed, lifted lash” effect while still feeling weightless, MAC Stack Elevated is definitely worth the hype. This mascara holds the curl. Does not flake, but it will clump a little so just go slow on application (hence 4 stars). I only wear waterproof because my lashes never stayed curled.

I have to wear waterproof mascara at all times and this is the best waterproof mascara I have ever used. It lengthens my lashes and they look full.

My old brand of mascara was discontinued and I’ve been searching for a mascara that goes on easily, doesn’t flake or smudge and adds volume to my already long lashes. This one checks all the boxes. I have a lot of allergies and so far this mascara doesn’t irritate my eyes. Nice product.

This is one of the worst mascaras I’ve ever tried. I’m a huge fan of MAC products, but this mascara is an absolute mess! If goes on pure glob and I’ve been wearing mascara for decades. Mac Magic Extension fiber Mascara, on the other hand, is one of my absolute favorites! I have short lashes and small eyes. The wand is tapered on Magic Extension and small enough for smaller eye socket application, but designed such that just a few sweeps gives me full and beautiful lashes without any clumping. Washes off easily too. I have sensitive eyes and Magic Extension does not bother me. What I love most is I’m not a morning person but I love a full lash with a lot of oomph, and I get results I want with Magic Extension in minimal time - a huge time saver for me with my morning routine. I also really like Guerlain Mad Eyes mascara - BEAUTIFUL lashes and buildable, but that one takes a little more time to achieve the fullness I want but I still love it. I’d recommend either of those two over MacStack especially if you have short lashes. Don’t waste your money on this one. I looked like a five year old put it on after I tried to apply it lol. I think the applicator is better suited for larger eyes and really long lashes; certainly not for those with short lashes and small eyes. But the consistency is nothing special either…. Way too globby. I even tried scraping the excess into the tube and that still didn’t work. This mascara is yucky. Sorry Mac, I love the majority of your products just not this one.
