501^® Ripped High Waist Straight Leg Jeans

I was excited to buy these Levi’s 501s. I remember getting my first pair of 501s in junior high, so many years ago when you had to wash them in hot water the first go around, and breaking them in, and getting them to the lived-in, molded to your body stage—was such a labor of love! Glad that 501s have come so far since those days, because, quite frankly, who has the time? This lighter, broken-in look of the wash really appealed to me, and I liked that the ripping wasn’t too over the top. I also love the classic button-fly of the traditional Levi’s 501. Needless to say, I was confident that I would end up really satisfied with this purchase, especially at this affordable price point. I was surprised at the fit, however. I’m a pretty true 14 in most jeans, (12 in Liverpool, and NYDJ), and the size guide indicated that the 32 was equivalent to a 14. I was shocked at how tight they are in the calves, I mean, c’mon, these aren’t skinny jeans! The waist was a tad too snug, too. I loved everything about these jeans, and really wished they had worked for me. Disappointed. Unfortunately, I’ll have to return them.

Levi’s 501 are some of the best jeans for a womens curvy body! I always try on several pairs in different sizes to find the right fit. Once you have found them, they are forever! After a few washes in hot water and over dried these are ready to go and will conform to you body like no other jean brand! The distressing on these are so in sink with a pair I purchased 26 years ago at a second hand store. Dress them up or down and you are sure to amazing in these 100% cotton button fly 501 jeans!
