Runs big, looks great but gapes between buttons
The other reviews are spot on. It's wonderful fabric, a great length on me (5'3") and would be a very versatile skirt that could be worn casually, to work or dressed up with heels or boots. However, when you sit down the skirt gapes between the buttons showing your underwear and is very unflattering (mentioned by others too). I might take it to the tailor to see if they can stitch the fabric down or add some hidden hooks but am not sure if it's really worth it.
Definitely runs big too. I'm a 26 jeans, sometimes 25 with curves and a smaller waist. The 24 fits me comfortably with plenty of room for tucking in t shirts or layers.

Very cute, runs big!
Super cute skirt, very flattering cut. Lightweight denim so it's won't be too hot in warmer weather. I'm usually a true 12/32 but the 32 in this had at least 2" extra in the waist, so I'm ordering a size down and hoping that fits better.

Elegant misfit
The denim is soft and cool on the skin, however the skirt opens up between the two top buttons exposing my skin/underwear. I also had to open the bottom button to climb stairs or enter a vehicle. I also miss that it did not have at least one pocket. This will definitely be returned.

Love the idea of a denim pencil skirt but this ran large on me and wider at the bottom than in the picture. Could be because I’m more of a straight than a curvy girl. Well made. For reference I’m a size 10 and bought a 10.

Not cute when sitting down
Love the look of this skirt when I was standing but when I sat down the seam spread open around my lower stomach and the least flattering way. So disappointed!
