Great Sandal
These sandals have been great. My son loves them and wears them everyday at summer camp. They are holding up well and comfortable for him to wear.

Runs Massive
While these appear to be a good quality shoe, they run HUGE. Based on Merrell's print out kid's sizing chart and on other shoes in which I wear an EU 37 I should have been a big kid's 6. However, these appear to be close to two sizes too large. I think Merell's sizing is mislabeled as I would expect an EU 37 to be closer to a kid's 4 or 5 (rather than a 6) -- however, I trusted the sizing on the site, which I should not have done :(

Convenient enough
The sandals are convenient to wear, but there are moments when my thumb hurts after walking in them for a long time. The size is already set bigger than my actual size.

Stays damp and smelly. Uncomfortable.
These shoes are not comfortable when used as water sandals. They do not dry quickly, and they stay very damp and smelly. We bought them for a vacation, used them for the week and promptly got rid of them because we will definitely not be using them again. I am a huge fan of Merrell products and was very disappointed by these. They receive a 2 star because their soles are great like their hiking products, and support is good. Otherwise, it's a thumbs down.
