love the fit! a good lesson in garment variation
I’ve gotten many complements wearing these and the fit is amazing! I am 5’1.5” and 110lbs. I ordered my usual size 2 but they are little snug. I do have a little spare tire as I carry my weight in my waist but these jeans work magic with my lower back plumpness and add it to my tiny bum. They fit almost as long as full length which is perfect for me! They do look more like capris when sitting down.
Now for wash variation. You may have seen a tag on jeans you have bought that say it’s one of a kind due to variations in fabrics and whatnot. I have never tested that before or noticed it in stores. I originally purchased the Marina, but was bothered by a poor dye/sew job on a back pocket. What was beneath the pocket wasn’t dyed but the pocket didn’t fully cover that part, so one pocket had a really light bit peeking out. I ordered another pair in the same color as I was in love with the fit, but the wash was so much lighter! But still a great fit so I kept them as I don’t have anything in that wash.
I still wanted the original wash so I placed an order for another Marina and the Brisbane as well. The Marina appears to be the wash I originally purchased and the Brisbane is more blue. The fit is a little wider in the legs on the Brisbane (or at least this pair, but it’s a good thing). It all worked out because now I have three washes of my favorite jeans. I rarely leave reviews or purchase multiples of something. I just had to share!
The photo where I’m holding up a pair of jeans are both Marina wash. The other picture is of the Brisbane was and I also included a picture of all 3 side by size.
