Great raincoat but too warm me

I have 2 other Kate Spade raincoats and love them but the quilted lining on this one is just too warm for me; I live in the SF Bay area of California. This would be good for someone in colder climates. I'm 5'8" 155 lbs and the large fits great. The sizing across all 3 KS raincoats is consistent. The brown coat has a tinge of red that i don't love (i didn't take the "cherry" part seriously when ordering) .
