Lovely and Comfortable
The dress was very much what I was looking for - no sequins. I wanted a mother of the groom gown that was elegant but did not distract from the bride or mother of the bride.The appliqué provides a bit of interest to an otherwise simple gown. I did order one size down, and the dress fit but was very form fitting. The give of the fabric makes it work, but if I had not returned the dress I would have tried my regular size for comparison. I returned the dress because the color was too similar to the mother of the bride's gown.

Extremely happy with this purchase!
I purchased this dress for my son's wedding in October. It's elegant, lightweight and very comfortable. Perfect length; no hemming needed. The slit is on the side and opens only to the knee - very classy! I am 5'8", 168 lbs. I am glad that I heeded the advice of reviewers to order a size down, as this runs large. Size 12 is perfect!
