Quinn 02 Wedge Sandal (Women)

I love beautiful and elegant looking shoes, however they do not always reciprocate the love to my wide feet. These sandals are definitely an exception. I wore them out completely and now want to buy a second pair as a result. I received many compliments on them from strangers. Random people in the airport would stop me to say how much they liked my shoes. They are so comfortable that I can and want to wear them for long periods at a time. Even on a 15 hour flight this summer, when I had the option to remove them, I kept them on because they were that comfortable. Of course, the real test comes with active engagement, and they passed with flying colors. They kept me in step on the dance floor, supported long walks on busy urban streets, and carried me up hills in the countryside without missing a beat. They truly had me stepping in style everywhere I went. One challenge with sandals is the tendency for foot rotation if you misstep. That is far less likely with this pair because of the adjustable straps that wrap securely around your ankle and your toes, keeping your foot steady. This sandal has just enough elevation for someone who does not want to wear flats, while still giving you the elegance of a heel and the comfort of a sneaker. The material used for the footbed of the sandal provides another wonderful attribute. It does not get as dirty or worn looking as many other sandals, so if you ever need to take them off in public, you will not feel embarrassed by how it looks. I truly wore these out. I am getting a second pair because the stitching at the top band has started to de-thread, and I have enjoyed them so much that I am absolutely willing to make the investment again.
