These shoes made it possible for me to walk 60 miles ( 200,000 steps) in less than 2 weeks. My second pair of Bondi 8...and now, my go-to shoes forever.

Disappointing Lack of Traction — Returning These
I was excited to try the Hoka Bondi 8 for women, but unfortunately, I’m very disappointed in the traction. While running on a bike path with just a few wet spots from sprinkler runoff, I could feel my feet becoming unsteady, almost like they could slip out from under me. I stopped to test the grip at a slow pace, and they were still slick. I can’t imagine running up or down a hill in these conditions without risking a fall. I own and love other Hoka models for walking and trail running, so I’m bummed to be returning these.

I love love Hoka. Nothing against Hoka at all. This review is mainly for Nordstrom Racks. It would be nice if my shoes came in the correct box. Not only that Nordstrom Racks stuffed a 9.5 shoes inside a size 9 box! Come on now, do better next time!

Bought in during Anniversary Sale
I bought this pair of Hoka last month and they were very cushiony and comfortable. There was a period where one of the shoe cut into the side of my feet because of the way my feet angles in a weird way. After awhile, it did stop. I docked a star because shortly after a month, the soles on the shoes have already started deteriorating. I know it was on sale but even then, it's a pair of shoes that still cost over a hundred bucks! It's my first pair of Hoka and although they are super comfortable, the longevity is not looking good.
