Slim Flip Flop (Women)

I had a pair of Haviana's from years ago that held up well. I ordered a replacement pair (black) and threw the old ones out. What a mistake. The new pair stretched so badly so quickly. They also got shredded at the beach because the sand must have been hot enough to melt the adhesive on the sole. So I ordered yet another pair hoping perhaps pair #2 were duds. The design of the shoe has been remade and the materials have been downgraded. Just wearing them in the house to try on, I could tell that the straps are too big, and given past experience, will stretch. They are a flip flop destined to sprain your ankle. While I like the look of Haviana's better, the simple fact is that they will break my ankle. Old Navy flip flops feel more stable.
