Buttoned Denim Fit & Flare Dress

I love the style of this dress but it’s small in the bust and ribcage. I’m normally a L, or 12-14, 36D and I couldn’t even button the 14. It did smell - don’t know if it would wash out. Wish it came in a 16.

Stats: I'm 5'4", 34D, 126lbs, athletic shoulders. The 4 fit me correctly with a tiny amount of pull in the front buttons across the chest. I typically wear a 4 or a 6. Pros: Fabric seems of nice quality, I liked the topstitching accent, the buttons -for once- were nice and added something. Really liked the at the knee length which can be hard to find. Aside from the negatives below it was comfortable to wear. I found the topstitch seaming alignment to be very flattering. Cons: I've never thought this about a collar before but its height and stiffness made my neck look terribly short. It was crazy. You can kind of see how weirdly it's styled in the model photos, I think that must be why. I also felt the arm holes were weirdly unfinished, they should carry the top stitching but doubled up on the fabric there making it stiff and giving linebacker shoulders.

This dress looks fabulous in the picture… couldn’t wait for it to come. Soooo disappointing!! Too small and smelled horrible!! Sent it back.. don’t think that smell could ever be washed away…

The fit of the dress is excellent. Well made, holds up beautiful after washing, and packs well. Such a great all around dress!
