Stripe Flare Leg Shorts

Had to leave a review because these are just weird. I like the look and weight of the fabric and thought it made for a nice slightly dressier casual short, and they decently made but the fit is just so odd. The waist fit fine and was comfy because of the elastic in the back, but across the front the fabric hugged my lower abdomen (you know the little pooch) in a really awkward way that accentuated it. That contrasted with the super wide leg (my husband said "it looks like you're wearing a skirt") just made for a confusing and not very flattering shape. Try at your own risk, maybe for someone flatter/boxier. For reference: I'm about a 28" waist but wider hip closer to 40". Because of my shape I typically fluctuate between a 4 and 6 in bottoms, and tried the small in these. Probably could have sized up to the medium, but I think the waist may have been loose and the legs would have definitely been too wide at that point.
