Billy Western Boot (Women)

The boots are beautiful and people compliment them. I’ve worn them twice. I own many pairs of Frye boots, and they are high- quality boots. One pair I’ve had re-heeled twice and fully re-soled once, and they are still beautiful boots. For a lot of years, the Fryes I bought were true to size. Suddenly, with this pair, the fit is off. One boot is larger than the other, and both boots fit fine across the front but the heel is loose, which makes them difficult to walk in. I’ve never had this problem with other shoes/boots, and I don’t have narrow feet (in fact, I have wide feet). I brought them to a shoe repair shop (same guy who re-heeled and re-soled my older Fryes) and he said there was nothing to do about the heel/fit problem. I bought these as final sale boots, but felt confident in my choice because I already own several pairs of Fryes in that same size and the others all fit fine. So though these are beautiful boots, the sizing is off for me.
