I love these shoes they look and feel amazing but they run big I usually wear size 8 and these were big on me like I need to go a size down. I’m going to return them and get a size 7

Beautiful, warm, but flawed
These boots are fashionable, warm, cozy, and definitely water resistant but have a serious flaw; snow compacts in the treads and doesn't clear. After a short while I could feel a hard clump of snow under the balls of my feet that I couldn't stamp out. It made me wonder how stable they'll keep me when I'm out for long periods of time. I'll keep 'em but will be cautious.

Stylish, will be great for northeast winters
Beautiful boot. My feet will stay warm, dry, and on the ground thanks to the substantial log sole. They are a tad heavy but the trade-off in style, comfort and utility will make up for that. Can't wait to wear them.

All these negative and subpar reviews is what made me miss out on ordering these on Black Friday when the sale price was even cheaper. I’m still kicking myself about that. I got my true size which is an 8. I’m an 8 in Marc Fisher shoes. In my opinion these run true to size. I have have wide feet. I live in Chicago. I wear wool socks during the winter. These boots offer enough room to wear thicker socks. If you do not wear thick socks in the winter then yes you may feel these are oversized. These boots are not super heavy. They are no heavier than the average winter boot. Take these other reviews with a grain of salt and just order them.
