Bluebell Mixed Print Cotton Maxi Dress

I love this dress! It’s definitely full in the skirt so I’d go down a size (or too) I usually wear a medium or small and I got the Xs. Only problem is Nordstrom sent it to me with the sensor still attached. Not sure what’s going on with their quality control lately. I have this dress in navy already and I just got the bluebell pattern.

I just wanted to love this dress as I love the material and the color, however the top part that goes over the chest is short. On the photos it looks longer, but when I wear it, it is very, very short. Probably because she is flat chested and I am not. Still debating if I should keep it or not. Also, it will add pounds to your look because the dress is puffy.

I don’t usually have good luck with long dresses, they swallow me up, but this one is designed just right. It’s a little bit too long but Cowboy boots made it fit fine. The top fits perfectly and it’s very flattering overall. I’m a 00-0 usually except on top. I’m usually a 0. I’m 54 and the style is not too young. I love it. I will wear it for a photo shoot with my horses and my husband on our mountain property, took a chance on it because the photographer asked me to try a long flowy dress for it. So glad I did!! It’s going to be stunning for what she has planned and I will also wear it to some girlfriend day out events this season!
