Bodice runs big and chest runs small

I had to size down 2 sizes to get the bodice to fit right, but the bust is small. For reference, I’m 5’7 142 lb 36 C, and ordered a size 2 when I’m normally a 6. It’s super cute but I have to constantly be making sure I’m not falling out up top.

Fantastic Fabric, Horrendous Fit

The dress has really nice fabric- it’s embroidered and, has the perfect combination of light without being see thru; the construction of the dress is utterly paradoxical from the h to the waist. The dress is dropped waist, and, the upper bodice is many sizes smaller that it really feels like it needs to be a two-piece set rather than a dress. It is EXTREMELY small through the chest/shoulders- like a full two sizes down.
