Women's Le Palazzo Wide Leg Pants

So the transition from skinnies to wide legs was difficult for me but I finally made it with these jeans because they are soo flattering and comfy. The trick is to get them to fit right. I wear my skinnies snug—and in Frame, I usually take a 30. In this jean, however, I had to bite back my vanity and take a *31*, and boy and I glad I did. I tried a 30 and it actually made me look like I was swimming in fabric. The *31* draped beautifully. I know that sounds crazy—but you don’t want anything about this jean to be snug. They’re absolutely gorgeous. I’m getting another pair in another color!!! FWIW I’m five three, hourglass, with a little in the middle and nice legs.

The stylist helping me find all the white pants in the store in my size brought these in for me to try. There is is A LOT of fabric in the legs---both wide and long. In my opinion this picture on the internet doesn't commuincate at all how much fabric there is. I would have needed a major hemming for starters and I'm 5'7" and not short-legged. I think they're super trendy...cool as heck.. fit very well, have good not show through fabric density But I wasn't sure how to style them so I brought them home unaltered to research. Watched all the YouTube vides on Palazzo pants, and decided the look that appealed to me was to match them with a very small top, maybe a crop top, ideally a bra top. I'm older and that style isn't in my comfort zone these days so I'm returning them, getting another pair of white pants that suit me better. If Palazzo pants are your style you may not be able to do better for summer than these in white, hence the 5 stars.
