Frayed Denim Trim Short Sleeve Cardigan

Cute looking sweater but disappointed. Love the idea but the ‘denim looking’ fabric is not stiff enough by the buttons to form a straight line when buttoned. They should have used stiff denim fabric so that this part would lay straight and be uniform around all of the buttons going down vertically. It runs slightly small so if between sizes go with the larger one. Wanted to love this sweater but returned it.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this one detail cannot go unmentioned. The buttonholes are cut slits, not sewn or stabilized in any way. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that shortcut before. I always sew my buttoned tops closed for ease of dressing and I hate gaping plackets, so this won’t be an issue for me, otherwise I would return it. If the buttons were used regularly, I can’t imagine that this would hold up. Pros: -It covers my upper arms and is long enough to cover the waistband of pants. If you’re between a medium and a large, go with the large -lightweight for 3 seasons -it is trendy and cute
