It is a much paler stone than pictured so the photo is misleading. Lower value gem with pale color; price is in line with its value.

Good and not so good
I have been looking for a True deep Tanzanite necklace and saw this and thought the price was great so I would give it a try. It’s a pretty color. It’s not as rich as the photo. One thing that I did really like about the necklace is, it’s not stationary. So if this is your first piece of jewelry in the Tanzanite, I think you’re gonna love it. The chain does not allow you to take it off of the pendant unless you bust the chain. So that means that you don’t have to worry about the pendant falling off the chain.

Pretty and petite
I like that it is not a stationary necklace, the pendant moves on the chain. The pendant itself is smaller than a petite pea. The color is pretty. If the person is a teenager or a very petite person they would probably like it. I returned months ago and it hasn’t been resold.
