Getaway Carry-On Backpack

Extremely disappointed. I bought this bag for a month long international work trip and a zipper broke during my very first flight (within an hour). The bag was half empty, so I can’t imagine how many zippers would break if you filled it as full as possible. Cheap garbage, do not buy this bag.

This backpack is well organized, with separate compartments for lap top and tablet. It would work well for packing for a short trip, too. Unfortunately, the bag was tagged as falling under the hazards of California Proposition 65. I don't recall seeing anything about this online when I was reviewing the backpack. I returned it to the store and checked all the backpacks. The only ones that were tagged as falling under California's Proposition 65 were made by this manufacturer.

This is a great backpack, and I even have two of them. However, the second (most recent) one that I purchased within the last year apparently has dry rotted netting. As a result, the cupholder and inside pockets are disintegrating after light use (4-5 times in the past year). I believe this is a defect because the older, same model that I have does not have this issue at all. I was told by Nordstrom Customer Service that because I purchased this item at Nordstrom Rack, I am unable to return it even though it’s defective. I also checked the manufacturer’s website, and they do not accept returns after 30 days. For this reason, I cannot recommend purchasing this product.

I love the size and different organization this bag offers. I bought this and one from Target at the same time for a 2 week trip to Portugal & I will end up returning this bag. I like that there was a mesh water bottle carrier, but with the same dimensions, the other bag fit more. This is a bit loose with the structure of the bag until you fill it to brim.
