Josie Floral Appliqué Sleeveless Dress

Beautiful dress. It is very heavy. The bust area slips down a bit because of how heavy dress is and a little bit of bra shows. The dress is very long. Even with my highest heels (I’m 5’4) I keep stepping on the hem. For the price, I don’t want to pay to have it hemmed. If you’re tall, this would work!

I bought this dress a week before a wedding on Final Sale and it was slated to arrive the day before the wedding. Fortunately it arrived a day early than expected and it exceeded my expectations. The dress is gorgeous and I received multiple compliments. As others have stated it does run a little small and does not have any give in the upper portion. It’s also hard to zip by yourself. I did not find it heavy or too long although it does drag the floor a tad. The wedding itself was outdoors in Texas so it was hot but I didn’t find the dress too hot. For reference I am 5 ft 7 inches, 115 pounds and ordered XS.

If you are between sizes, go up and you may have to have it taken up because it’s long! I am 5’9” and I normally wear a size 4-6 which is a size small in this dress. The small is “snug” on me. (For reference I wear a 36B bra. I have a broad back and shoulders.) The dress is well made but you may have to have it taken up if you are not tall. Barefoot, this dress brushes the floor on me. In my low heels you still can barely see my shoes. I really like the cut. It’s a mermaid fit. I bought this for a summer evening outside wedding. The dress is heavy so I hope I’m not hot. I wasn’t sure about the colors but when I put it on, I think it looks classy.

Beautiful dress. Like other reviews, I found that the dress runs slightly small. There is no stretch, so consider that with your sizing. I typically am a size 10/12, with an hourglass figure, and the XL fits perfectly.

Purchased on clearance as a prom dress for my 16 year old. She fell in love instantly when she saw it online. She is 5’4” and 115ish lbs and we ordered XS. The shoulders were way too wide for her tiny frame. Luckily we have a seamstress in the family who helped alter it. It is well constructed, with boning and lining. Like another reviewer commented, the lace was unraveling in places, we just trimmed the strings and it looks fine. She hasn’t worn it to dance in so we will see how it holds up. Overall I’m happy with the purchase but would not have been satisfied if I had paid full price.
