Time Off Up Combat Boot (Women)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought the Dr. Scholl’s Women’s Time Off Up Platform Ankle Boot in Dark Umber Faux Leather for my daughter, and they’ve instantly become her new favorite shoes. Right out of the box, the color was the first thing she commented on — the Dark Umber shade is gorgeous, a rich brown that looks high-end and pairs perfectly with everything from jeans to leggings to casual dresses. Comfort: Dr. Scholl’s is known for comfort, but these boots go above and beyond. The insole is soft, supportive, and makes the platform feel surprisingly lightweight. My daughter can wear them all day at school without any soreness, which is a huge win. Fit & Size: The fit is true to size with just enough room for cozy socks. The ankle height gives support without feeling stiff, and the slip-on style with elastic goring makes them easy for her to pull on and off without help. Weight & Platform: Even with the platform sole, the boots aren’t heavy. The platform adds a little height (which she loves) but it’s stable and balanced — no wobbling or clunky feel. It gives her that trendy, chunky boot look without sacrificing comfort. Quality & Wear: The faux leather looks incredibly real, and after weeks of wear there’s no creasing, peeling, or fading. It wipes clean easily — great for kids who aren’t always gentle with their shoes. The sole has good traction too, so she feels secure walking on slick floors or outside. Perfect for any weather. My feet stayed warm in the rain. Straps & Construction: There aren’t traditional straps, but the side goring panels stretch well, stay snug, and haven’t loosened over time. The stitching is solid and the construction feels durable enough to last through both school days and weekend outings. Maintenance: Super low maintenance. A quick wipe with a damp cloth keeps them looking brand new. No special conditioner or polish needed thanks to the faux leather finish. Overall: Stylish, comfortable, and incredibly versatile — my daughter absolutely loves these boots and reaches for them every single day. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes aren’t comfortable for me. They run narrow and there’s very little padding. This makes standing on such a thick sole uncomfortable for me. I typically wear an 8/8.5 and ordered these in an 8.5. They fit as expected except the width was too narrow to be comfortable. I can see these working for someone with a narrow foot who isn’t bothered by the lack of padding or who will add their own insoles.
