Leona Lug Sole Platform Derby (Women)

I tried these on in store. These fit well and are high quality, but are so heavy. My foot slipped out of the tied shoe because the lug sole is so heavy. If they were a little higher, they may have stayed on better. I do have a narrow foot, so someone with a normal or wide width foot may not have this issue.

I love these shoes. I have owned three other Docs styles, and these were an instant favorite. Easy to walk in from day one, comfortable by day two. I typically wear a US 8 in Docs (a 9 in most other brands) and they fit like most of my others, a tad loose at the back. If I tie the laces tightly, they tend not to wiggle so much, and I haven’t experienced blistering. My one qualm is that the leather scuffs incredibly easy, almost offensively so. And beneath the black is brown, so the scuffs are obvious. Annoying, but not enough to stop me from wearing them, as I adore the platform and hardware.
