Ginger & Grapefruit Zing Eau de Parfum

I started wearing this fragrance just about a year and a half ago and I've gotten SO MANY compliments on it. I've been told it's "my signature scent", that's its comforting, light enough not to be overpowering, and a 'natural perfume ' (i.e. it's not overpowering or strong, fake fragrance smelling). I've been told it's clean and earthy, and 'just so pleasant.'Even my friend who doesn't like sage really liked this perfume!my ONLY complaint is I wish it was a little stronger. it's a very light perfume--which is nice to not induce scent headaches or something and give a more natural vs artificial fragrance--but I have to spritz A LOT to make sure it sticks through the day. That's my only complaint really. but otherwise, I absolutely love this perfume and recommend this brand to a lot of friends. I do, however , gatekeep this particular scent from my friends and family bc it's *MY* scent (not really, I just love that it's Not Like Other Scents💅)

I like every element of the scent notes in this fragrance separately, but all together it was a little too much sage/deep earth garden and not enough lightness for my purposes. I had bought this as an at home sleep or meditation fragrance, but it instead felt like a forest goblin approaching you right before you drift off. The sage eased up on the dry down, and the projection wasn't huge (which I think makes sense for the scent profile), but it just wasn't for me. I've heard some people say online that this smells like pickles, but I didn't detect any note of fermentation, acidity, etc. Maybe an occasional whiff of dill, but not anything like pickles. You could use this as a base to a more citrusy/bright herbal blend (thinking cucumber, grapefruit, melon, mint vibes), and I think it could really shine if you aren't into the deep herb garden vibe. It is truly a unique scent and for someone else it might blend better for them with their skin chemistry. Just know it's more concentrated poultry seasoning herb garden than edible herbs + gender neutral floral garden.

Originally reviewed this around the holidays. This scent is terrible to me and my experience trying to return/exchange was not great. They reached out to me recently to make it right. I was able to get the scent I originally wanted. Better late than never. A little faith in the brand has been restored.
