Agree with the previous review. I'm a size US 9 / 40 EU. Ordered US 10 too big - shoe slipping off. Ordered US 9.5 toes hitting the front of the shoes and my heal slipping off when walking. Don't waste your money!!!!

Disappointed with fit
I LOVE this shoe and La Canadienne - it was exactly the style I was looking for. So I’m really disappointed in the fit. I ordered the 7M first and it was much too large and kept slipping off my heel. I then ordered the 6.5M and it’s too small and my toe hits - but the shoe still slipped on my heel when I walked. Sadly returning both of them.

Stiff, But the Fleece is Amazing
I expected these to be very comfortable shoes for the price point -- meaning something like memory foam for your feet. They are very stiff, with very little padding. They are not uncomfortable, but they are not what I would call a "comfort shoe." BUT they are extremely well made, and the fleece lining is amazing for Chicago winters. I was able to wear a simple trouser sock and my feet stayed toasty. I didn't want to wear a heavy wool sock with my suit all day, so the fleece provided that warm layer so my toes didn't freeze in the negative 2F temps we saw this week. I recommend the shoe, but definitely set your expectations for 'sturdy' vs 'comfy.' I wanted comfy, but decided to keep these because the fleece lining made up for it. I've ordered a pair of the fleece lined sneakers for airport travel and hope they will have that comfort I want for the long terminal walks.
