sizing weird on these
i bought these in a 20w and a 22w and both fit but don’t fit at the same time. both have a gap in the back and fall down on my waist, but the pockets pooch out on both. i’ll probably keep the 22 but they aren’t the perfect fit at all.

Not like other democracy jeans
I agree with another review that said they have a weird fit. I am normally a 20W in democracy. I tried on an 18w and 20w. Both were really tight in the waist. The 18 fit my butt and legs well though. Length was great, I'm 5'9". The 20, though still tight in the waist, were huge everywhere else including length so no way I could go up to a 22 even though a 22 would have fit my waist. I own many democracy jeans and these are just off. And a little stiff too. Get this..... i actually bought the 18 because the way they fit everything other than my waist. They look good and the wide straight look is what i needed. Hoping to lose a few pounds soon so maybe the waist will get better.. we'll see. I have a month to return if needed.

just adorable
So cute and sooo comfy. They are a bit long but they work with platforms. I’m 5’9”. I hate tight pants. These stay on my waist nicely but aren’t restricting. Normally I’m a 20 but the 18 fits perfectly. A hidden elastic waistband is genius.
