Genie in a Bottle Illuminating Nail Tone Perfector Base Coat

Excellent product to give nails light illumination!

Deborah Lippmann's **"All About That Base"** in violet is a game-changer for achieving the perfect natural nail look. The subtle violet hue enhances the natural tone of your nails, giving them a healthy, polished appearance. Its formula smooths and strengthens the nail surface, creating the ideal foundation for any manicure while delivering a gorgeous, natural finish even on its own. It's the perfect way to get that effortless, natural feel with a touch of elegance.

The look of the color in the bottle is promising. It’s a really pretty illuminating swirl. Brushed on first coat, looked clear. Second coat, barely a hint of a color. Third coat and I could see a little something if my nails caught the right light. Cmon, Deborah, you can do better. Kur pink illuminating nail concealer by Londontown is my go-to. If Deborah and team can get their illuminating brand up to par, I’d give it another try. But as it is, you’ll be happier with Kur until the other brand is tweaked/ reformulated, etc.

Love this great polish that helps your nails look pretty in a hurry without your having to be super precise. Doesn’t look purple but just a lovely shine. So easy - terrific!

I love this polish, it’s sheer with a pink/purple shimmer but looks great and can absolutely be worn alone. I applied two coats (no additional top coat) and it lasted over a week with no clips/peeling!

This is lighter than it shows on photos or inside bottle, as I was expecting more purplish and darker hue at least close to lavender.

Beautiful violet sheen! Hard to capture in a photo. Bought this for all female family and friends for Christmas. Easy like clear coat but elevated. Gorgeous.

I find this new basecoat really really good! I do my nails myself, I keep them short And I prefer Shiny buffed nails, only a basecoat or, a basecoat with a sheer neutral color. I do this because whether I actually have them done at a salon or myself within one or two days the polish or base coat always starts Chipping! But, not with this! I put it on over five days ago and have been wearing it only. It goes on smoothly, Not too thick, leaves the nails with a lovely satiny sheen, not too high gloss and has yet to chip! If it is wearing at the tips, I cannot tell at all so I am guessing not. It seems to even the nail out and only in Certain positions in the the sun does it slightly reflect a bit of the color and shimmer from what you see in the bottle. I have yet to try it with one of my sheer polishes, it is so lovely on its own but, I have every confidence it will perform just as fabulously!

Polish stays on forever and really does brighten the tips and make the nail bed look rosy natural. I may never go back to salon! Worth every penny. If your on the fence don’t hesitate - buy it!
