Explorer Lace-Up Boot (Women)

I absolutely LOVE these boots. I have been looking for a pair of boots exactly like this for years! It is well made with quality materials, at least they look like they are! The fit is also great! Sometimes a size 11 shoe, no matter how cute in a size 8, just doesn't translate in larger sizes! Anyway, i highly recommend these awesome boots. 🙃🙂

I returned these (in Brown) without even trying them on because, on opening the box, the boots I received didn't match the pictures. In the photos, the leather on the Brown appears to have some depth, whether in the finish or the natural leather; it gives the boots some character and the color almost shifts toward maroon. In the pair I received there was none of that. The finish was almost perfectly "flat" with no color variation. (Sorry, I'm not enough of a leather expert to put it in words exactly.) Nothing bad about that necessarily but I wasn't what I expected. Also, the zipper in the pictures is YKK; on the boots I received it was some other brand I've never heard of. I don't care about that, but together with the leather finish it makes me think the boots I received were from a different run entirely.
